Why It Matters
The series adapts Ayune Araragi's manga, which has been serialized in Kadokawa's Monthly Shonen Ace since 2020. The story centers on a serious police inspector who enters a fake relationship with her bumbling colleague to study the concept of love. The manga was previously serialized as Rinna Keibu wa Kokyu ga Dekinai in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex from 2016 to 2017. This trailer provides the first major look at the production quality and tone ahead of the Winter 2027 season.
